Job Title: Head of Data & Analytics
Job Description:
Employment: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Define and lead the data and analytics strategy to drive business growth across product, marketing, customer retention, and business development.
- Align data analytics efforts with organizational goals to improve performance and growth.
- Foster a data-driven culture across the company.
2. Team Management:
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
- Promote collaboration to integrate data insights into product development, marketing, and operations.
- Oversee team hiring, training, and development to enhance analytical expertise.
3. Data Infrastructure & Systems:
- Manage and optimize data systems, pipelines, and analytics platforms.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to improve data architecture, ensuring quality, consistency, and accessibility.
4. Analytics & Insights:
- Use data analytics to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Lead advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.
- Provide regular KPI reports and insights to stakeholders.
5. Growth Optimization:
- Leverage data insights to refine customer journeys, optimize product features, and improve marketing channels.
- Track and report on growth metrics, including conversion rates and customer behavior.
- Implement a data-driven experimentation approach to enhance business performance.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with product and marketing teams to define KPIs and success metrics for growth experiments.
- Offer strategic insights to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
- Ensure smooth communication between data teams and other departments.
7. Data Governance & Compliance:
- Maintain data governance policies and uphold privacy and security standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations on data privacy.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years in data analytics, growth, or marketing analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience leading data-driven growth initiatives, preferably in a tech or eCommerce company.
- Proven track record of using data to drive measurable business impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with growth hacking and customer acquisition analytics.
- Familiarity with machine learning models, data science, and AI techniques.
- Proficiency in analytics tools like Looker, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
