Our client—a leading global tech company—is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead high-level engagements with governments, regulators, and industry alliances across the Middle East and Central Asia (ME&CA) in the field of cybersecurity.

Job Description:
As the Head of Cybersecurity Trust & Government Relations, you will be the regional face of the company’s cybersecurity and privacy program. This strategic role is focused on driving policy advocacy, regulatory engagement, and trust-building initiatives to shape cybersecurity governance and digital transformation across ME&CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the organization in all cybersecurity/privacy-related interactions with government entities, regulators (e.g., TDRA, SDAIA), customers, and alliances.

• Lead regional policy advocacy efforts, promoting standards and certifications such as NIST, ISO 27001, CISSP, and CIPP/E.

• Design and implement trust-building initiatives, including roundtables, whitepapers, and participation in regional cybersecurity conferences such as GISEC.

• Navigate complex, cross-border regulatory environments and align internal and external stakeholders around compliance objectives.

• Drive thought leadership in cybersecurity governance across ME&CA.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity governance, public policy, or client/regulator engagement roles.

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulations in the Middle East and Central Asia.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English is required (Arabic or Russian is a plus).

• Demonstrated success in influencing policy and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CIPP/E, or equivalent are required.
