Job Title: Head Hostess 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Head Hostess to lead front-of-house operations at a high-end restaurant in the UAE. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and organized environment that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a polished presence, and the ability to manage guest flow while maintaining service excellence.

As a key leader on the hospitality team, you will oversee reservations, train junior hostesses, and coordinate with service and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your attention to detail and passion for customer service will directly influence guest satisfaction and the restaurant’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.

• Manage table reservations and strategically optimize seating plans.

• Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure timely and seamless service.

• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

• Train, mentor, and oversee hostess team members.

• Maintain the appearance and functionality of the reception and dining areas.

• Support special events, private functions, and high-volume dining services.

• Enforce restaurant policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.

• Gather guest feedback to support continuous service improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the UAE hospitality industry.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

• Proficiency in reservation and POS systems.

• Positive attitude and guest-first mindset.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Knowledge of fine dining service etiquette and food & beverage pairings.

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience: At least 1 year in hospitality or similar customer-facing roles.
