🎯 Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Grant Expert to secure and manage substantial grant funding aligned with Fuse Energy’s growth targets. This pivotal role focuses on securing £100M+ in grant funding within the first year through R&D, renewable development, and government procurement grants.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead a full-spectrum grant strategy, work cross-functionally with internal teams, and represent Fuse Energy to major global and government stakeholders.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Design and execute a high-impact grant acquisition strategy targeting UK, EU, and international funding opportunities.

• Grant Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of grants—from research and application to execution and reporting.

• Proposal Writing: Draft compelling grant proposals in collaboration with R&D, finance, legal, and operations teams.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Fuse Energy in discussions with UK, EU, and international funding bodies.

• Training: Provide internal guidance and support on best practices in grants and public funding processes.

📌 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (advanced degree, ACA, CA, or CFA is a plus).

• 2+ years of grant writing and funding experience, preferably in renewables or infrastructure.

• Proven success in securing major grants from government or international agencies.

• Strong relationships or understanding of UK/EU funding bodies and global procurement programs.

• Skilled communicator with excellent writing and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a strong plus.
