Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering, is seeking UAE Nationals for the role of Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for fresh graduates eager to start a career in supply chain and energy projects. The role involves supporting large-scale oil, gas, and new energy projects while gaining exposure to engineering practices, design, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory, liaise with suppliers, track shipments, and ensure stock levels are maintained.

• Work with suppliers to source materials or products, negotiate contracts, and analyze pricing and market trends.

• Apply engineering theory in practical contexts and suggest design changes for cost-effective and functional solutions.

• Interpret technical information, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards within the engineering discipline.

• Prepare accurate and clear reports, technical documentation, and communications.

• Support project execution while adhering to company processes, standards, and procedures.

• Utilize relevant engineering software and demonstrate computer literacy for project tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.

• Internship or relevant project experience is preferred.
