Job Title: Government Services Manager
Role Overview:
The Government Services Manager will oversee visa management and work permit activities for Al-Futtaim Group in the UAE. This role involves leading the Immigration and MOHRE teams, ensuring efficient, cost-effective processes, and providing expert advisory services based on applicable laws and market trends. The manager will also drive HR analytics and reporting, support digital transformation, and enhance employee experience through innovative service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
✅ Lead and develop the Immigration & MOHRE teams within Government Services.
✅ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure efficient service delivery.
Visa & Work Permit Management
✅ Oversee immigration and MOHRE-related activities for all employing entities.
✅ Ensure seamless new joiner, renewal, and exit processes.
✅ Maintain full compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
Process Optimization & Technology Integration
✅ Work with HRIS and Contact Centre to implement case management practices.
✅ Improve efficiency through automation, AI, and cloud-based technology.
✅ Drive innovation in Government Services through digital solutions.
Stakeholder Coordination
✅ Liaise with government authorities, third parties, and joint ventures.
✅ Collaborate with internal departments (Onboarding, Offboarding, Contact Centre, Emiratization).
✅ Align best practices across MENA operations.
HR Advisory & Compliance
✅ Provide expert advisory services to HR teams and management.
✅ Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company guidelines.
✅ Identify policy improvements and recommend necessary changes.
Data Management & Reporting
✅ Collect and analyze HR and government data to support decision-making.
✅ Report on service performance, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Competencies:
🔹 Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, employment regulations, and government procedures.
🔹 Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Ability to manage HR data, reporting, and compliance.
🔹 Experience in digital transformation (HR technology, automation, AI-driven solutions).
🔹 Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Fusion, Workday).
Qualifications & Experience:
📌 Job Title: Government Services Manager
📌 Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
📌 Experience:
- 5+ years in HR Operations / Shared Services (Government Services experience preferred).
- Experience in related industries is a plus.
📌 Technology Skills: - Proficiency in HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Fusion, Workday).
- Strong data analysis and reporting abilities.
