Reporting to the Compliance Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing business. We are looking for a professional with experience in commodities trading or banking, ensuring adherence to corporate governance best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and review of governance frameworks.

• Stay informed on evolving regulations and industry best practices.

• Support the risk team in compliance monitoring and oversight.

• Act as the first point of contact for governance-related queries.

• Contribute to the development and review of training materials.

• Evaluate and enhance governance processes, policies, and frameworks.

• Track industry trends and legislative changes impacting governance.

• Provide governance support to the board and business committees.

• Assist in the preparation of agendas and meeting documentation.

• Ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures.

• Provide advice and guidance to senior management on governance matters.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in governance, compliance, or risk management within commodities trading or banking (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Excellent organization and project management skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, particularly with senior management.

• Proficiency in governance tools, document management systems, and compliance software.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.
