Royals NMPM Trading LLC, a licensed wholesale gold trading company based in Dubai, is actively seeking an experienced and highly vigilant Gold Purchasing Executive to lead gold procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in international gold sourcing, with a focus on African markets, and demonstrate strong compliance, risk management, and fraud prevention skills.

This full-time, on-site role is suited for someone with a proven track record in gold procurement, who understands the intricacies of international trading laws and UAE import procedures. The executive will work closely with vetted suppliers, refineries, and regulatory bodies to ensure secure and compliant gold transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Gold Procurement & Supplier Vetting

• Source and screen genuine suppliers of gold doré bars and bullion.

• Conduct detailed due diligence on suppliers’ licenses, background, and reputation.

• Test and verify gold using XRF, density, acid, and hallmark verification.

• Confirm suppliers provide all necessary documentation: mining licenses, assay reports, permits, and certificates of origin.

Import & Logistics

• Manage end-to-end shipping and customs procedures.

• Coordinate with logistics providers and refineries for timely deliveries.

• Validate all transport and import documentation in line with DMCC and UAE laws.

• Ensure compliance with OECD Due Diligence Guidelines and the Kimberley Process.

AML, KYC & Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive KYC/KYS records for all suppliers and intermediaries.

• Comply with UAE AML regulations and DMCC protocols.

• Identify suspicious behaviors and submit appropriate reports.

• Support internal audits and compliance reviews with proper documentation.

Risk & Fraud Prevention

• Detect and mitigate scams, fraud, counterfeit gold, and pricing manipulation.

• Stay updated on fraud patterns and industry risks.

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to safeguard business operations.

Reporting & Strategic Support

• Generate reports on supplier performance, sourcing outcomes, and compliance metrics.

• Assist senior leadership in procurement strategy and negotiation.

• Cultivate long-term supplier relationships across global markets.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in gold procurement/trading/refining (preferably in UAE or Africa).

• Expertise in gold testing methods (XRF, fire assay, gravity, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and DMCC regulations.

• Deep understanding of AML, KYC, and international compliance.

• Excellent analytical and fraud detection skills.

• Fluency in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

• Willingness to travel internationally to gold sourcing regions.

Compensation Package:
