The Global Senior Manager – Vertical Solution – Chemicals will shape and implement strategies for the chemical sector’s logistics and supply chain solutions. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights, developing end-to-end solutions, supporting key account management, and promoting thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vertical Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a strategy, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management for the chemicals sector.

• End-to-End Solutions Expertise: Analyze logistics data, identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with solution engineering teams to create innovative products that drive thought leadership and sales.

• Key Account Management Support: Act as a subject matter expert to provide tailored solutions for customers and support coordination and management of key account teams.

• Thought Leadership and Training: Conduct training sessions, represent DP World at industry events, and develop marketing collaterals to promote vertical solutions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly within the chemicals industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

• Proven success in developing and implementing logistics and supply chain strategies that contribute to business growth.

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets related to supply chain operations.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence in logistics.

• Familiarity with logistics technology, including TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.

• Lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
