A leading importer and exporter of fresh produce is looking for a detail-oriented GL Accountant to manage payroll entries, utility reconciliations, and financial reporting with precision. If you have strong ERP experience and a background in FMCG, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic finance team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile staff records monthly between the system and official documentation.

• Prepare payroll entries with proper coding by division, department, and employee, and obtain approvals from the Finance Manager (FM).

• Generate payroll summaries and reconciliations for review by the GL Supervisor, FM, and CFO.

• Manage and ensure timely utility payments including electricity, water, telecom, and Salik.

• Conduct monthly analysis of utility expenses and flag anomalies or overspending.

• Serve as a finance ERP superuser, supporting automation and reducing manual processes.

Qualifications:

• Male candidates preferred, up to 40 years old.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a GL Accountant in the FMCG industry.

• Proficient in Excel, SAP, Oracle, and familiar with IFRS standards.

• Experience in account reconciliation and month-end closing processes.
