Taptap Send is hiring a General Manager, GCC to lead market expansion across the Gulf region. This high-impact leadership role involves strategy development, regulatory engagement, partnerships, and operational execution to establish Taptap Send as a leading cross-border fintech remittance provider in the GCC. The ideal candidate must have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, fintech expertise, and deep knowledge of the regional regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Market Expansion & Strategy:

• Define and implement a strategic plan for launching and scaling in sending and receiving markets.
• Lead the regulatory engagement process to ensure compliance with remittance laws and licensing requirements.
• Drive P&L ownership and ensure business growth and profitability in the region.

✅ Stakeholder & Partnership Management:

• Build and manage relationships with regulators, financial institutions, and commercial partners.
• Negotiate partnerships with banks, payment processors, and other key financial entities.
• Serve as the face of Taptap Send in the GCC, representing the company at industry events and regulatory discussions.

✅ Operational Execution & Performance Monitoring:

• Oversee the setup of financial infrastructure and ensure seamless operational execution.
• Track key performance metrics, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams across compliance, product, finance, legal, and marketing.

Job Requirements:

📌 Experience & Skills:

• 7–15 years of leadership experience in a high-growth fintech or tech startup.
• Proven track record in market expansion, regulatory engagement, and strategic partnerships.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (SQL, Python, or R is a plus).
• Deep knowledge of the GCC regulatory landscape, financial ecosystem, and remittance industry.
• Fluent in English & Arabic (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel across GCC markets as needed.
