Zawyeh Gallery, located in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, is offering a paid internship opportunity for a Gallery Assistant Intern. This 3-month role is ideal for graduates or undergraduate students eager to gain hands-on experience in the contemporary art world. The position involves supporting gallery operations, events, exhibitions, and marketing activities in a vibrant and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, setting up, and dismantling exhibitions and events.

• Support during exhibition openings, greet visitors, and provide information about artworks.

• Maintain and organize gallery records, including inventory, artist profiles, and client databases.

• Contribute to creating and scheduling social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Assist with sales by providing information on pricing and availability of artworks.

• Document exhibitions through photography and update gallery archives.

• Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and other service providers for event execution.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong interest in contemporary art and the art market.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Previous gallery or museum experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Location: Unit 27, Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz 1, Dubai

• Duration: 3 months

• Pay: AED 2,500 per month

• Working Days: 5 days per week

• Working Hours: 7 hours per day
