Job Purpose:

As a Guest Experience Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome, seamless check-in and check-out process, and exceptional service throughout their stay. Your role is to anticipate guest needs, provide personalized assistance, and enhance their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to guests upon arrival.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-in and check-out processes following hotel standards.
  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and personalized recommendations.
  • Maximize room sales by upselling to walk-in guests at the best available rates.
  • Ensure the Front Desk/Guest Services area is always stocked, organized, and operationally prepared.
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Accurately update guest information in Opera PMS and ensure all records are complete.
  • Perform regular audits of guest registration details and financial transactions.
  • Attend daily shift briefings and monthly team meetings to stay updated on hotel operations.
  • Escort guests to their rooms when required, introducing them to the hotel’s features and services.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including foreign currency exchange, paid-outs, and account settlements.
  • Maintain and balance a personal cash float, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Minimize financial discrepancies by ensuring all rebates have proper approvals and documentation.
  • Assist in special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Guest Services or Receptionist role in a five-star international hotel.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic or Russian language skills are a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
