Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Food Technologist to join an innovative team in Dubai. You will play a vital role in the development, testing, and improvement of food products, focusing primarily on the confectionery and bakery sectors. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation, testing, and refinement of new food products, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and nutritional standards.

• Conduct sensory evaluations, analyze consumer feedback, and provide insights to guide product enhancements.

• Support the implementation and monitoring of quality control measures throughout the production process.

• Document and report findings from laboratory tests, product trials, and shelf-life studies.

• Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and R&D teams to ensure product specifications and packaging meet market needs.

• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in food production, with a strong background in the confectionery and bakery industries.

• Solid understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP) and quality assurance practices.

• Practical experience with laboratory testing methods and analytical equipment.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Reliable, proactive, and committed to high work standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or hands-on experience in food product development.

• Knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques and basic statistical analysis.

• Familiarity with ingredient functionality, food processing techniques, and preservation methods.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.
