• Food Specialities Limited (FSL) is seeking an experienced Flavorist to join their team, working with Aromatech’s R&D and sales teams to provide technical and R&D assistance for food and beverage projects. This position will play a crucial role in the development and commercialization of flavor solutions, collaborating on R&D projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Aromatech R&D teams to handle and develop R&D projects.

• Evaluate project requests to meet customer expectations.

• Communicate with internal teams (R&D, Marketing) and external partners to drive project success.

• Develop, modify, and improve current and future food and beverage flavor projects.

• Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, legislations, and flavor trends.

• Organize and participate in sensory and organoleptic panels.

• Contribute to Aromatech’s flavor raw materials database.

• Provide technical support to FSL sales teams and visit key clients as needed.

• Manage the Alexium ERP system in compliance with Aromatech’s standards.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• Relevant degree in food technology/chemistry.

• Degree from flavor schools (Master’s level) in formulation, raw materials, and sensory analysis.

• Sound knowledge of the food industry, regulations, and technical constraints.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment.

• At least 3 years of experience in flavor houses or large food and beverage manufacturing setups.

• Fluency in English communication skills.

• Flexibility to travel as required.
