IntrepidGS is seeking a Fitness Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a certified fitness professional with the ability to teach aerobics, strength, cardiovascular, and circuit training classes, while also supporting recreation and wellness events. This role requires flexibility to work day or night shifts, along with U.S. DoD Secret Clearance eligibility, and a strong background in fitness training, customer service, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct group fitness classes, including aerobics, step, strength, and circuit training.

• Assist in planning and executing fitness and recreation events, including setup, officiating, and reporting.

• Create and maintain a 120-day fitness calendar and promotional materials.

• Provide excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and support for patrons.

• Maintain indoor and outdoor recreation facilities (cleanliness, equipment checks, and safety).

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly participation reports.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, including support in lodging or recreational areas.

• Ensure 24-hour operational readiness by working assigned shifts (day/night).

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in fitness training and event support strongly preferred.

Licenses & Certifications (Mandatory):

• American Red Cross CPR Certificate.

• American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate (or local equivalent approved by ACO).

• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor credentials.

• Experience leading group classes and instructing strength training techniques.

• Knowledge of safe and effective use of training equipment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles).

• Valid U.S. Passport (preferred).

• Must meet USCENTCOM Deployment Policy requirements.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid UAE Residency Visa.

• Capable of working in extreme conditions (dust, heat, long hours).

• Must hold and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
