Role Overview

The First Officer supports the Captain in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of flydubai aircraft. As second-in-command, you’ll perform delegated flight duties while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, decision-making, and Crew Resource Management (CRM). This role requires full commitment to safety, leadership, and teamwork in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Captain in ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo.

• Execute delegated flight tasks and support pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight activities.

• Maintain compliance with UAE GCAA and international aviation regulations.

• Monitor aircraft systems and performance, reporting irregularities promptly.

• Uphold flydubai SOPs, policies, and CRM principles.

• Assist in managing crew responsibilities during all phases of operation.

• Represent flydubai professionally in public and operational environments.

• Continuously stay informed on aviation regulations and best practices.

• Ensure accurate safety and incident reporting as per company protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma

• License: ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

• Medical: Unrestricted Class 1 Pilot Medical Certificate (ICAO-compliant state)

• English Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or above

• Flight Time Requirements:

  • Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time

  • Minimum 1,000 hours on modern EFIS, multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft over 10 tonnes

  • Minimum 1,500 hours MPA (multi-pilot aircraft) flying time

  • PIC time is preferable
