Company Overview:
Our client is a leading digital assets firm providing secure financial services across the GCC region. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join their Dubai team, ensuring compliance with VARA regulations, strengthening financial controls, and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to VARA financial regulations, manage reporting obligations, and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Financial Controls & Risk Management: Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
• Audit & Governance: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reporting in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Supervise the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and audit reports under IFRS and VARA standards.
• Treasury & Liquidity Management: Monitor and manage crypto and fiat liquidity, ensuring capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Tax & Compliance Coordination: Collaborate with tax advisors, legal teams, and compliance officers to meet financial obligations under VARA’s crypto asset framework.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in financial management, audit, or regulatory compliance, preferably in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of VARA regulations and Dubai’s virtual asset compliance framework.
• Background in financial audits, regulatory reporting, or risk management within a regulated environment.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance/audit certification is highly preferred.
