Overview
Nirva Energy, a specialist fuel supplier for Marine, Commercial, and Industrial markets, is looking for a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant to join its Dubai team. This role plays a pivotal part in preparing accurate management accounts, supporting group-level financial operations, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to provide clear insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.

• Perform detailed variance analysis, providing insights into deviations against budget and forecast.

• Assist with annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Monitor KPIs and provide data-driven commentary on business performance.

• Support the Finance Director with financial modelling, scenario planning, and ad-hoc analysis.

• Manage intercompany accounts and reconciliations within group entities.

• Oversee fixed asset registers and depreciation calculations.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.

• Coordinate year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.

• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory filings.

• Contribute to process improvements and ERP system enhancements.

• Provide accounting support across wider finance projects.

Requirements

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified).

• 3–5 years’ experience in management accounting, ideally within multi-entity or fast-paced environments.

• Solid knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP accounting principles.

• Strong skills in ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
