Finance Executive – Payroll & Benefits

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Executive to oversee payroll and employee benefits management across the MENA region. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, financial reconciliation, and coordination with HR and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, and experience in payroll or accounting within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management & Processing:

  • Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries within the MENA region.
  • Adhere to strict payroll timelines, ensuring accurate salary disbursement and report submission.
  • Process end-of-service settlements for exiting employees as per company policies and labor laws.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips to employees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate payroll entries, adjustments, and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Handle bank transfers and payroll-related payments with precision and efficiency.

Financial Reconciliation & Reporting:

  • Create and manage payroll accrual entries for staff benefits, including end-of-service benefits, airfare, leave, and bonuses.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts monthly to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary payroll documentation and reports.
  • Work closely with the Finance team on payroll-related transactions and financial reporting.

Employee Benefits & Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate processing and timely booking of insurance-related invoices.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to manage employee benefits, including medical insurance, leave entitlements, and other allowances.
  • Stay updated on regional labor laws and compliance requirements, ensuring payroll policies align with legal standards.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and concerns, providing clear and effective resolutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or HR.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll or accounting, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hospitality property.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MENA labor laws and payroll regulations is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal); additional languages are a plus.
