Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) is hiring a Field Operator to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, potline rectifiers, and utility services at its plant. The role involves monitoring equipment, reporting deviations, assisting in maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor or Control Room Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
🔹 Monitor and record routine parameter readings and report deviations.
🔹 Ensure standby equipment is always available for emergency use.
🔹 Assist in routine testing and re-commissioning after maintenance.
🔹 Identify hazards and participate in the safety reporting system.
🔹 Maintain high housekeeping standards in the designated area.
🔹 Conduct on-the-job training and continuously improve competencies.

Job Requirements:

🎓 Higher Secondary School Certificate.
🔧 4 years of experience in a power station.
🛠️ 2 years of experience as a Desalination Operator (PG7) or similar role.
📊 Understanding of single-line diagrams and IT skills.
🗣️ Intermediate English proficiency (for shift reports and communication).
💡 Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
