Amazon is seeking a Facilities Supervisor (UAE National) to join its Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team in Dubai. This role ensures equipment safety, high availability, and preventive maintenance within Amazon’s warehouse and delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in electrical/mechanical engineering, hands-on experience with maintenance systems, and leadership capabilities to guide technicians while upholding Amazon’s world-class safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote safe working practices, ensuring compliance with Amazon safety standards.

• Conduct planned preventive maintenance across site equipment.

• Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimize downtime.

• Analyze equipment issues and suggest improvements for performance optimization.

• Monitor utilities and sustainability metrics, providing corrective insights when required.

• Supervise contractors and enforce Amazon’s operational standards.

• Provide on-the-job training to RME technicians, enhancing skill development.

• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate maintenance work orders.

• Ensure housekeeping and janitorial services meet company standards.

Requirements

• UAE National (as per labor law criteria).

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Strong knowledge of planned preventive maintenance systems.

• Basic understanding of Automation & PLC systems.

• Proven ability to fault-find in MHE/Automation systems.

• Leadership experience in managing technician teams.

• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Hands-on experience with conveyor systems, motor controllers, and inverters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Auto-CAD experience.

• Knowledge of sortation machines.

• PLC troubleshooting expertise.
