Securitas is seeking a Weekend Security Officer to safeguard client premises in the Champaign-Urbana area. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in the military or law enforcement. Officers will perform patrols, manage entry points, and handle incidents with professionalism and adherence to company values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned premises and monitor entry/exit points.

• Conduct conflict resolution and de-escalation as needed.

• Provide customer service and support to client employees and visitors.

• Identify, report, and respond to safety risks or suspicious activity.

• Submit accurate and detailed written reports.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.

• Prior security experience required.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and PERC card.

• Comfortable working independently and conducting foot patrols.

• Technologically literate with attention to detail.

• Must pass background check and adhere to company policies.
