The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive of Information Security to support cybersecurity initiatives in line with Dubai Government Cybersecurity Standards. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and improving information security practices across critical systems, ensuring data protection, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. UAE Nationals will be given priority under the Emiratization initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• Support execution of KHDA’s information security initiatives aligned with Dubai Government standards.

• Contribute to IT risk assessments, compliance reviews, and organizational security strategy.

• Prepare cybersecurity awareness materials, simplifying complex risks for employees.

• Analyze cyber risk trends and provide insights for improved practices.

• Escalate security risks impacting multiple functions (HR, Finance, Student Data).

Operational:

• Monitor and analyze systems, networks, and applications using logs, alerts, and threat feeds.

• Identify, document, and escalate cybersecurity incidents with recommended actions.

• Assist in vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance checks.

• Manage user access requests, ensuring alignment with access control policies.

• Maintain and validate IT system records, access rights, and security logs.

• Support IT and security audits, ensuring readiness and corrective actions.

• Collaborate with IT teams to apply endpoint security updates, antivirus monitoring, and system protection.

• Implement data protection measures across HR, Finance, and Student Services.

• Conduct awareness campaigns to explain cybersecurity risks to non-technical staff.

• Apply and improve SOPs for incident response, backup, and recovery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• UAE National (Emiratization priority).

• Fresh graduates with cybersecurity internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.

• Monthly Salary: AED 10,001 – 20,000
