InterContinental® Hotel Dubai Festival City, part of the world’s most international luxury hotel brand, is hiring an Events Service Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant and dynamic team at one of Dubai’s landmark hospitality destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise event service operations, ensuring all function rooms are set up as per client specifications and hotel standards.

• Oversee staff during event setup, service, and breakdown, maintaining both front and back-of-house cleanliness.

• Conduct event briefings to ensure staff are fully informed about room layouts, décor, and guest expectations.

• Monitor event execution, ensuring high levels of service, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with all hotel departments to deliver seamless event experiences.

• Handle administrative tasks such as reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), change logs, and event reports.

• Provide training and mentorship to team members and casual staff, promoting skill development and professional growth.

• Maintain grooming standards, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

• Evaluate event outcomes and provide debriefs to continuously improve service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills to engage with both guests and colleagues.

• Effective planning, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

• Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).

• Good time management and ability to perform under pressure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel.

• High school diploma required; a degree in hospitality is a plus.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
