First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) proudly presents The Ethraa Programme, a prestigious graduate initiative designed for high-potential Emirati fresh graduates. Sponsored by the Central Bank of the UAE and the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), this structured program offers a powerful launchpad into the banking and financial services industry.

The 8 to 12-month program is broken down into three developmental phases, blending technical training with international qualifications, practical projects, and continuous coaching to nurture confident, specialized banking professionals.

Program Phases:

Phase 1: Foundation

• Core training in general banking principles and industry knowledge.

Phase 2: Specialisation

• Domain-specific training in areas like:

  • Credit

  • Risk

  • Audit

  • Compliance

  • Data Science

• Training partnerships with leading institutions such as PWC, Kaplan, Chartered Banker (UK), and more.

• Includes soft skills, mindset development, productivity skills, coaching, and mentoring.

Phase 3: International Certifications

• Candidates who successfully complete Phase 2 will progress to globally recognized certifications like:

  • CFA

  • FRM

  • ACAMS

  • CIPD

  • CIA

  • ACCA

Eligibility Criteria:

• UAE Nationals with Family Book.

• Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Accounting

  • Finance

  • Banking

  • Business Administration

  • Computer Science

• Minimum GPA of 2.5

• Proficient in English

• Completed National Service (for male candidates)

• Graduation year 2023 or later
