Group AMANA, a regional leader in design-build and industrial construction, is seeking an Estimator to join its Dubai team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for MEP scopes, analyzing drawings and BOQs, supporting senior estimators, and ensuring clarity between specifications and project requirements. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills and construction industry experience.

Key Responsibilities / Role Overview:

• Handle tender documentation, administration, and filing.

• Operate estimation software and maintain tendering logs.

• Build accurate cost estimates, unit rates, and scope breakdowns.

• Visualize and conceptualize project drawings in 3D.

• Prepare BOQs, identify contradictions, and clarify discrepancies in drawings vs. specifications.

• Assist in developing strategies to improve the tendering process.

• Manage RFIs/RFQs and prepare credible comparison sheets.

• Support value engineering efforts based on studies and analyses.

• Highlight critical project items requiring input from operations teams.

• Ensure accurate BOQ generation and rate distribution for multiple tenders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant field).

• Minimum 4 years of experience in estimation.

• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.

• Proficiency in computer applications and fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
