Edara is seeking an experienced Engineer – Value Added Services (VAS) to handle troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of SMSC, MMSC, USSD, 3PGW, and other VAS domains. The role involves ensuring high system availability, managing customer complaints, and supporting new project rollouts. The candidate will work in a 24×7 operational environment, ensuring compliance with SLAs and optimizing core network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within VAS core nodes.

• Perform acceptance testing and implement new features for VAS nodes.

• Handle customer complaints related to VAS, SMSC, MMSC, USSD, and 3PGW.

• Analyze and optimize system performance based on defined KPIs.

• Monitor and maintain signaling protocols (SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, BICC, MAP, CAP, TCP/IP).

• Manage international call setup and SMS call flow.

• Liaise with customers and handle VIP care cases efficiently.

• Support trouble tickets, change requests, and acceptance testing.

• Collaborate in a multi-vendor telecom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.

• 10+ years of experience in Fixed Core Network (VAS) and Telecom Technologies.

• Strong knowledge of H.248, SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP-I, and A-interface protocols.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Experience in Roamware servers and VAS core applications.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage KPIs, and ensure service availability.

• Strong communication, team leadership, and customer service orientation.
