Job Description:
TAQA Distribution is seeking an Engineer – Power Control Centre AA to assist in the development and implementation of operational plans for power generation and distribution. The role involves supporting resource tracking, data collection, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing operational plans for power generation and distribution.

• Track and document resource allocation, including personnel and equipment.

• Collect and maintain performance data for analysis and reporting.

• Aid in scheduling maintenance activities to minimize service disruption.

• Enter operational data into systems accurately and compile performance/resource utilization reports.

• Support collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.

• Ensure daily operations comply with safety standards, OSH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify potential risks and report them promptly to senior team members.

• Participate in risk assessments and maintain awareness of emergency/evacuation procedures.

• Adhere to HSE, security, and risk management protocols, reporting incidents and hazards as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Up to 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Knowledge of operational planning, resource tracking, and safety compliance.

• Familiarity with OSH guidelines, HSE protocols, and emergency procedures.

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
