Job Description:

J10 Consulting is hiring an experienced Energy Modeller to join a leading multinational design and engineering consultancy in Dubai, UAE. This role involves conducting energy audits, building performance simulations, and sustainability assessments to drive energy efficiency in construction projects across the Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy modelling, measurement, verification, and commissioning using IES software.

• Analyze and optimize energy consumption in building projects.

• Perform energy audits to identify conservation and cost-reduction measures.

• Advise on climate control, energy management, and sustainable design strategies.

• Ensure compliance with LEED, USGBC/GBCI, and local regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the implementation of energy management projects.

• Research and promote alternative energy systems like solar thermal and photovoltaics.

• Collaborate with operations, construction teams, and stakeholders to enhance energy efficiency.

• Create energy-related reports, presentations, and proposals.

• Train personnel on energy management best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy modelling and efficiency analysis.

• Proficiency in IES software (mandatory).

• LEED Accredited Professional certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience in USGBC/GBCI compliance and green building standards.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and innovate energy-saving strategies.
