NOV is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Emirati – UAE National) to support its supply chain operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to begin a career in logistics within the oil & gas sector. The position involves managing transportation documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with global logistics processes. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage transportation documentation (invoices, packing lists, delivery advice, bills of lading, etc.) in line with NOV policies.

• Coordinate import/export shipments according to global logistics procedures.

• Liaise with operations, supply chain, sales, and manufacturing teams.

• Support timely and cost-effective transport solutions.

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and service providers on shipment status.

• Assist in cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvement projects.

• Ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations, and HSE standards.

• Support Quality Control to maintain ISO certification requirements.

• Carry out additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Nationality: UAE Nationals (Emiratis only).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (fresh graduates welcome).

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required.

• Prior experience in logistics/supply chain is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle JDE) is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive, energetic, and willing to learn.
