Job Purpose:

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, ELV, generator, and fire/life safety systems in a data center environment. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency response to ensure 99.999% uptime of critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily visual inspections on electrical equipment (UPS, LV Panels, Switchgear, BMS, DCIM, Busway Systems).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repair work on electrical and ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical components and power systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and follow PTW processes.
• Maintain spare parts stock and ensure readiness for emergency response.
• Document maintenance activities in the CAFM (FSI) Mobile App.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls related to electrical failures.
• Coordinate with engineers and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Work in 24/7 shifts and ensure business continuity for critical data center operations.
• Attend training sessions and technical seminars to enhance skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of power systems (UPS, control panels, DBs, Busway systems, generators, switchgear).
• Basic understanding of cooling systems (HVACs, chillers, fire & safety, BMS, ELV systems).
• Experience in electrical system installation, repair, and maintenance.

✅ Personal Skills:

• Basic English proficiency (reading and writing).
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.

✅ Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical & Electronics.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Center Facilities Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Data Center Electrical Commissioning & Testing.
