Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Technician to support our Facility Management division in Dubai, specifically at a data center site. This role is critical in ensuring electrical systems operate at peak efficiency to deliver 99.999% uptime for data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine building and equipment maintenance inspections

• Monitor, log, and maintain data center systems such as UPS, switchgear, generators, BMS, DCIM, ELV systems

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective electrical repairs

• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance calls

• Create and manage job cards via CAFM (FSI) mobile app

• Maintain electrical and ELV systems and support associated infrastructure

• Comply with safety protocols and support after-hours operational needs

• Work rotating shifts (24/7 operations) and participate in training and safety briefings

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Sound knowledge of power systems (UPS, Generators, Panels, Busways)

• Basic understanding of HVAC, fire safety, BMS, and ELV systems

• Hands-on experience in electrical commissioning and maintenance

• Skilled in fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs of electrical infrastructure

• Able to work independently and under pressure

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking ability

• Strong team player with interpersonal and negotiation skills

Educational & Professional Background:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Electronics

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data center facilities management

• 2 years of experience in electrical commissioning/testing in critical environments
