Aggreko is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, to deliver planned maintenance programs ensuring reliable and safe operation of equipment. The role involves performing mechanical servicing, troubleshooting, inspections, and providing technical advice to customers while adhering strictly to Aggreko’s safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical servicing and general maintenance, including A & B service, engine fault diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and fault finding.

• Assist with site installations, commissioning, and decommissioning as needed.

• Respond to field equipment breakdowns promptly, including outside working hours if required.

• Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of equipment repairs.

• Maintain compliance with Global Service Centre Standards and Aggreko’s Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

• Conduct electrical/mechanical assembly, repair, testing, and fault finding on Aggreko products.

• Perform safety inspections and support troubleshooting implementation issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Specialized Diploma or Vocational Training in a technical or engineering field.

• 3 to 5 years of electrical experience; mechanical experience is a plus.

• Competent in power generation environments, with experience in diesel/gas generators and auxiliary systems.

• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical drawings.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality work on time.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Ability to perform technical and manual work in various weather and terrain conditions.
