EDMAC Engineering Consultant LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (MEP) with a minimum of 5 years of Dubai experience. The role involves designing electrical building services, preparing detailed drawings and calculations, managing low-current systems, and coordinating with contractors and authorities to ensure projects meet quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical building services design from concept to detailed design and tender.

• Prepare design documents, drawings, calculations, specifications, and bills of quantities.

• Follow sustainable design practices in all electrical engineering tasks.

• Review and respond to contractor RFIs and general queries.

• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.

• Attend site inspections as required.

• Coordinate with authorities (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, FEWA) to obtain approvals.

• Design and manage telecommunication and data services systems, ensuring authority approvals.

• Design fire alarm and emergency systems, security systems, MATV, PA, and other low-current systems.

• Estimate project costs and prepare bills of quantities for electrical, low-current, and fire alarm systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of MEP Electrical Engineering experience in Dubai.

• Proficiency in electrical design, drafting, and calculation tools.

• Knowledge of low-current systems, telecommunication, fire alarm, and emergency systems.

• Experience liaising with local authorities for project approvals.

• Strong project estimation and bill of quantities preparation skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
