Premier Marine Shipyards is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its shipbuilding and ship repair projects in Dubai. The role involves supervising electrical installations, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates with strong technical expertise and GCC experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems in shipbuilding and repair projects.

• Ensure technical compliance with design specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.

• Conduct functional testing of generators, motors, switchboards, and control panels.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in circuits, control systems, and power distribution.

• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment for efficiency and minimal downtime.

• Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, and departments to meet timelines.

• Implement electrical safety measures, risk assessments, and compliance protocols.

• Maintain records of inspections, material usage, and reports for project documentation.

• Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency in electrical systems and maintenance activities.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with strong experience may be considered).

• 8–10 years of experience in shipbuilding or ship repair projects.

• Prior GCC experience (preferably within the UAE).

• Valid UAE driving license.
