Role Overview:
We are hiring a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to support our infrastructure and building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE regulations and hands-on experience in electrical design, drafting, and ELV systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical designs in compliance with UAE codes and regulations.

• Design and verify lighting systems, power distribution, cable sizing, generators, transformers, UPS, and capacitor banks.

• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), voltage drop and load calculations, DB & SMDB schedules, and LV schematics.

• Draft and manage material take-offs and support procurement with technical expertise.

• Design ELV systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and ICT/security/PA systems aligned with civil defence codes.

• Review and interpret SPL, FOV, and WiFi heat map calculations.

• Prepare layouts for electrical cabling and ELV routing.

• Evaluate material submittals for accuracy and compliance.

• Create tender drawings, BOQ, and technical documentation.

• Ensure grounding and lightning protection systems are properly specified.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in infrastructure and building design in the UAE.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and design software.

• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
