💼 Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer for a prestigious multinational consultancy in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and engineering of residential, commercial, retail, and entertainment projects across the UAE. This is a contract-based opportunity with immediate joining and potential for extension based on performance and project demands.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Autodesk Revit and BIM tools to develop electrical design solutions for building projects.

• Collaborate with the MEP Director to carry out engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, and conceptual/final designs.

• Create and verify electrical calculations, technical reports, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with international standards.

• Design and coordinate ELV systems, dry utilities, and electrical layouts as per project specifications.

• Engage with vendors and stakeholders under supervision to ensure accurate delivery of electrical engineering services.

• Maintain QA/QC documentation, design records, and technical archives.

• Ensure design work aligns with local authority standards and codes, and internal quality manuals.

• Support the project team by effectively communicating technical concepts and coordinating across disciplines.

• Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience, ideally within a recognized PMC or engineering consultancy

• Strong design experience in:

  • ELV systems

  • Electrical infrastructure

  • Dry utilities

• Proven project exposure in residential, commercial, retail, and entertainment sectors

• High proficiency in BIM and Autodesk Revit (mandatory)

• Familiarity with industry-standard design and calculation software

• Solid understanding of GCC construction standards and regulations
