Ideal Fitouts is looking to hire a Draughtsman for a full-time, on-site position based in Ajman. The role requires extensive experience in preparing detailed technical drawings and collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers in the fit-out and interior design industry.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in CAD tools and have a deep understanding of MEP systems and regional authority approval requirements (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, DCD, SCD, ADCD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings and layouts based on architectural and engineering specifications.

• Modify and revise drawings in line with project requirements and updates.

• Create detailed production drawings for fit-out works.

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, codes, and standards.

• Prepare MEP drawings and manage authority approvals (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, DCD, SCD, ADCD).

• Utilize BIM software and CAD tools like AutoCAD and Revit.

• Work on joinery details, interior layouts, scaling, and construction documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the fit-out/interior design industry in the GCC.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or other CAD tools.

• Solid knowledge of MEP systems and authority approval standards.

• Strong communication skills for inter-department coordination.

• Experience with BIM software is a plus.

• High attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents accurately.
