Weatherford is hiring a Domain Champion – Geomechanics to lead the alignment and integration of Geomechanics-related answer products under the Drilling Engineering and Interpretation & Evaluation Services group. The role involves acting as the focal point between global product lines, geozone operations, software, and R&D teams to ensure the successful development, strategy alignment, and operational execution of Geomechanics solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive organizational strategy for Geomechanics activities to support Drilling Services and related product lines.

• Define focus areas and development priorities for Geomechanics in alignment with business needs.

• Ensure integration of Weatherford’s Geomechanics products with other subsurface evaluation domains globally.

• Provide technical support and engage with customers to expand Geomechanics business opportunities.

• Develop innovative workflows and integrated technical solutions for diverse client challenges.

• Build and deliver Geomechanics training courses internally and externally.

• Actively participate in industry technical societies (e.g., SPE, SPWLA).

• Support operations teams with post-mortem root-cause analysis of Geomechanics-related operations.

• Adhere to Weatherford’s Operational Excellence & Performance System (OEPS) and quality policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Geomechanics and subsurface evaluation.

• Expertise in subsurface evaluation workflows and technologies.

• Strong knowledge of customer objectives in subsurface characterization.

• Ability to design integrated solutions and identify collaboration opportunities.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Financial understanding of project evaluation metrics.

• Self-motivated, with the ability to lead domain activities and teams effectively.
