EDGE Commercial is seeking a Director – Opportunity & Proposal Management to oversee proposal development and business opportunities across the organization. The role requires a strategic leader with expertise in proposal management, business development, and leadership, particularly within the Defense & Aerospace industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring high-quality proposal submissions, and collaborating with key internal stakeholders to secure successful contract awards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for proposal and opportunity management.
• Lead the qualification and prioritization of business opportunities.
• Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring high-quality, timely submissions.
• Guide teams in crafting compelling proposals that align with client needs.
• Collaborate with technical, finance, and legal teams for proposal compliance.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of proposal and bid managers.
• Establish and implement best practices for proposal development.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive landscapes.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and expectations.

Skills & Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, or leadership roles (preferably in Defense & Aerospace).
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Management (Master’s preferred).
• Proven track record of leading successful proposal efforts resulting in contract awards.
• Strong knowledge of proposal processes, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management, process improvement, and communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
