SSMC is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for inpatients and outpatients using a multidisciplinary approach. The role ensures high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care in alignment with the American Dietetic Association (ADA) Nutrition Care Process (NCP). The Dietitian will assess, plan, implement, and monitor patient nutrition interventions, contributing to overall patient health and recovery.
Responsibilities:

Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) using the Nutrition Care Process: Assessment, Diagnosis, Intervention, and Monitoring & Evaluation.

Record all patient assessments and interventions according to facility policies.

Consult senior dietitians for complex cases to ensure evidence-based care.

Collaborate with ward and food service staff regarding patient dietary requirements and nutritional care plans.

Participate in medical rounds and provide nutrition therapy for high-priority patients.

Support staff development, patient education, discharge planning, and quality improvement projects.

Communicate nutritional care plans with healthcare team members.

Assist in preceptorship of dietetic interns and undergraduate dietetic students.

Contribute to patient education materials and institutional awareness campaigns.
Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care facility.

Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition and Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, or Health Science (with postgraduate diploma or master in Dietetics).

Active membership in a Nutrition Society or Association.

Current national license or registration for clinical practice.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices and patient care standards.
