Helios Towers, a leading independent telecoms infrastructure provider with a strong presence across Africa and the Middle East, is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Dubai. The role involves spearheading infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation, and cloud reliability to support the company’s global telecom-tower platform. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring system performance, scalability, and security, while also mentoring peers in DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Provision and optimize Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and AKS.

• Lead containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement observability with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Prometheus.

• Enforce automated testing, security scans, and vulnerability checks within pipelines.

• Act as escalation point for deployment issues and lead incident response.

• Conduct post-mortems and drive operational process improvements.

• Mentor team members and contribute to automation excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.

• Proficiency in Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud migrations.

• Skilled in monitoring frameworks: Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus.

• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA/CKAD preferred.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
