NMDC Group is looking for an experienced Electrical/Instrument Designer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role requires a highly skilled individual with technical expertise in drafting, 3D modeling, and proficiency in software like AutoCAD and Microstation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Design: Prepare electrical and instrument designs, including 3D modeling and lighting level calculations.

• Supervision & Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of designers, ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD, Microstation, and other electrical/instrumentation software such as AVEVA EL, AVEVA IN, SPI, and SPEL for design and modeling tasks.

• Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Ensure designs meet interdisciplinary standards and work across various engineering disciplines.

• Quality Control: Rigorously check and verify designs and drafts for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Technical Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience: 12 years of drafting experience, with a minimum of 2 years at Level 3. Supervisory and team leadership experience is required.

• Skills: Competence in AutoCAD and Microstation, experience in 3D modeling, lighting level calculations, and familiarity with electrical/instrumentation software such as AVEVA EL, AVEVA IN, SPI, and SPEL.

• Language: Good written and spoken English skills.
