Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager specialized in Design Development to lead our dynamic design team in Dubai. This role focuses on translating high-level concepts into detailed, executable designs, overseeing quality, alignment, and innovation throughout the development phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Strategy

• Mentor and guide a team of designers to achieve excellence in every design outcome.

• Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions to align team efforts with project goals.

• Drive innovation by integrating modern design trends and best practices.

Design Development Oversight

• Translate design concepts into detailed development-ready documentation.

• Ensure output aligns with brand standards, client vision, and technical requirements.

• Approve design deliverables such as drawings, prototypes, and detailed plans.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and marketing to ensure seamless execution.

• Resolve technical challenges through effective communication with internal teams.

• Represent design perspective in key meetings and decision-making forums.

Quality & Project Management

• Enforce quality assurance across all deliverables.

• Manage timelines, milestones, and project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

• Communicate updates and progress with clients, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Innovation & Industry Awareness

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools.

• Introduce innovative processes to enhance design development efficiency and creativity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in design management with a strong focus on development.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant software.

• Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination abilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to design precision.
