We are seeking a Design Manager – Architectural to lead and oversee the design process for high-profile and complex building projects in Dubai, UAE. This role demands a seasoned architectural professional with proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, driving innovative design solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design management of complex building developments from concept through construction.

• Translate client briefs into well-coordinated and executable design strategies.

• Manage internal design teams and external consultants, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

• Oversee submissions for authority approvals and ensure strict adherence to local and international building codes and standards.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure design integration and buildability.

• Monitor design progress and milestones, produce detailed reports, and identify and resolve design delivery risks.

• Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, municipalities, and contractors for seamless communication and decision-making.

• Oversee project financials, including resource planning, budgeting, and reporting to executive stakeholders.

• Support proposal preparation, business development activities, and client-facing presentations.

• Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in architectural design management, with involvement in large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.

• Professional registration (e.g., AIA, RIBA) is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, international codes, and authority requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

• Experience in client liaison, team mentoring, and strategic planning.
