Design Engineer – Aerospace & Defense

MARKETSCOPE is a multidisciplinary provider of aerospace and defense solutions, delivering high-quality engineering, design, and manufacturing expertise to global clients.

Role Overview:
The Design Engineer will execute end-to-end design tasks, converting 3D models into 2D drawings, optimizing designs for manufacturability, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks from 3D modeling to 2D drafting.

  • Collaborate with the design engineering team for setup planning.

  • Solve design challenges and optimize time, cost, and resources.

  • Interpret structural documents and apply them to tooling, processes, and panel detailing.

  • Provide input to tweak designs for manufacturability and efficiency.

  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and departments.

Key Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in CATIA V5: 3D Part Modeling, 2D Drafting, Generative Shape Design (GSD).

  • Experience in mould design, FRP, shell, and panel drawings.

  • Composite design experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering and structural drawings.

  • Familiarity with material specifications, manufacturing techniques, and process optimization.

  • Understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM), design changes, and milestone documentation.

  • Aerospace, automotive, or rail industry experience preferred.

  • Must have a valid passport.
