Decision Support Lead – CEO Office

TAQA Group is hiring a Decision Support Lead for the CEO Office in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing strategic research, business intelligence, and essential support for CEO decision-making, high-level meetings, and executive engagements. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the CEO’s Office, PMOs, and Executive Assistants, ensuring efficient decision support and executive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough strategic research to support CEO decision-making.
  • Provide insights on business intelligence, industry trends, and key initiatives.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional coordination.

Decision Support & Executive Briefing:

  • Prepare briefing notes and reports for CEO meetings and external events.
  • Assist in developing memos and strategic insights for internal committees.
  • Ensure CEO is well-prepared for key discussions with accurate data and analysis.

Reporting & Team Engagement:

  • Maintain a weekly outlook of key meetings and required preparations.
  • Collaborate with the communications team for executive positioning.
  • Support rapid response requests by conducting initial research and sourcing expertise.

Executive Support & Coordination:

  • Manage meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Assist in presentation and report preparation for the CEO.
  • Coordinate resources, budget allocations, and personnel for project execution.

General Responsibilities:

  • Oversee policy, procedures, and system implementations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
  • Comply with organizational policies and delegation of authority.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic consulting, decision support, or the energy/utilities sector.
  • Strong analytical, research, and executive reporting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
