Role Overview
We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with 5+ years of experience to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-grade databases. The role involves performance tuning, high availability, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable database operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle, SQL Server, and open-source databases.

• Administer ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite) environments across Production, Staging, Test, and Development systems.

• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

• Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, IDAM, and Single Sign-On environments.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of critical database platforms.

• Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery policies.

• Manage database security, encryption, and user access.

• Perform cloning, migration, and cloud integration for ERP and other systems.

• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated database deployments.

• Administer clusters, optimize workloads, and implement data warehousing solutions.

• Document configurations, policies, and procedures; collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

• Provide 24/7 on-call support for business-critical systems as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 5+ years of database administration experience across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and open-source platforms.

• Hands-on expertise in ERP (Oracle Apps) database management, upgrades, patching, and cloning.

• Strong experience with high availability and disaster recovery (RAC, Data Guard, AlwaysOn).

• Familiarity with cloud databases (OCI, Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

• Knowledge of NoSQL or Big Data technologies (MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database performance optimization.

• Familiar with DevOps/automation tools, BI, and analytics integration.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; relevant certifications (Oracle OCP, MS SQL DBA, PostgreSQL/Greenplum, Cloud) preferred.
