Job Title: Data Lead – SAP Data Migration 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Lead to manage and execute large-scale SAP data migration projects on a contract basis. This six-month, extendable project will require you to develop, implement, and execute a robust data migration strategy that ensures high data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.

The Data Lead will oversee the entire end-to-end data migration journey, from scoping and planning to execution and post-migration validation. You will be responsible for ensuring that data is accurately transferred and aligned with business processes, driving process improvements, and enhancing data management efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Migration Strategy Development & Execution:
  • Lead the design and implementation of a data migration strategy that ensures high-quality data migration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of the migration process, ensuring data is transferred accurately with minimal disruptions to business operations.
  • Validate the integrity and consistency of data post-migration.
• Data Governance & Quality Control:
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and quality assurance processes to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Address and resolve data quality issues and ensure data security and privacy standards are adhered to throughout the project.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
  • Provide strategic guidance to both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals.
  • Drive outcomes and influence key decisions across cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder engagement and communicate project progress and outcomes.
• Process Improvement & Innovation:
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing innovative data management solutions.
  • Leverage advanced tools and frameworks to enhance data migration efficiency and overall data management performance.
• Post-Migration Validation & Reporting:
  • Ensure post-migration validation is completed successfully and ensure that data aligns with business requirements and processes.
  • Provide detailed reports and documentation of the migration process, highlighting any challenges and solutions.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale SAP data migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA or Legacy to S/4HANA).
• Strong understanding of SAP data models, master data, transactional data, and data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit, or other tools).
• Experience with Keyloop (Autoline DRIVE) is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing data governance, data quality, and data management frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data migration solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL frameworks.
• Certification in SAP and/or data management methodologies is desirable.
• Understanding of Agile project delivery frameworks.
• Strong technical documentation and process improvement skills.

Salary: AED 20,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
